Green Amethyst (also called Prasiolite) is produced by careful heating of Brazilian amethyst. Green Amethyst has a pale green colour. Some natural sources green quartz has been found, however the green amethyst sold as gemstones is heat-treated. It strengthens peace and calm, and brings generosity, growth, health, happiness, harmony, stability, and fertility. green Amethyst also promotes balance and restoration of the nervous system. Beautifully cut green Amethyst beads around 8mm with different length sizes in each bead with 3mm faceted green Amethyst in between. In the center of the necklace there are 2 Freshwater Pearls (12mm) as you also find in the beautiful 925 Sterling Silver pendant. The pendant is 4.5cm hanging length and the complete necklace is 45cm long. I made the necklace using beautiful handmade 925 Sterling Silver beads and a 925 Sterling Silver toggle clasp.
