Green Cat’s eye also called Chrysoberyl exhibits pleasing opalescence that reminds one of the eye of a cat. When cut to produce a cabochon, the mineral forms a light-green specimen with a silky band of light extending across the surface of the stone. Chrysoberyl cat’s eye is found in Sri Lanka, Brazil, India, China and Zimbabwe. Some other notable sources include India, Pakistan, Russia, Tanzania, Madagascar and the United States.
